PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT Personality tests are used to assess the behaviour and poise of the individual. A useful technique, it helps understand the personality of the candidates, their traits, biases and their preferences and how the same may be leveraged for getting maximum benefits. Personality Tests are a must-go through if the candidate has secured the qualifying cut-off scores in the written test. After aptitude testing through the written test, companies and institutions assess individual’s personalities by placing them in group situations and through one-to-one interviews. INTERVIEWS Our panel of experts will teach you how to handle interviews and its intricate intricacies, to help improve your chances to bag that all-important job offer. The first step we teach you how to find out everything you can about the company and its structure. That is, what it does, How it is doing, What prospects it has ahead and so on. We guide you to re-read your application, thinking through your own career and the questions they might ask you. We teach you to try to anticipate the general questions which they will ask and how you should counter them. The next process guides you on how to convince the interviewer you are technically qualified to do the job and show that you are sufficiently motivated to get the job done well. In addition, you will be taught how to assure them about how well you will fit in with the company's organizational structure and the team in which you will work. We believe in clean grooming and smart dressing. You will be taught as to how to dress smartly for the interview and look for the interviewsession.You will also be counseled to leave. It is advisable for you to leave your home earlier than you need to on the day of the interview, so as to avoid getting caught up in traffic chaos or other reasons. Finally, you will be taught the virtues of courteous behaviour and positive spirit. That is how to be courteous to all employees of the company and the need to be positive about yourself and your abilities, through the whole interview process.
GROUP DISCUSSION What’s a Group Discussion? A group discussion or GD, is a situation where a group of 6-12 people are made to discuss a given topic and arrive at some common understanding of the topic. Group members are given a topic, a few minutes to jot down their ideas, followed by 15-20 minutes of discussion about the topic. A Group Discussion seeks to analyse the topic from as many angles as possible and try to arrive at a conclusion of a particular framework. At Horizon Reach, you are taught as to how you should conduct as a group member and put forth your views on the topic.
